High Manganese Steel Rollers
High manganese steel rollersare used in thermal power plant as trolley wheels. High manganese steel rollers are manufactured in austenitic manganese steel. It is used in extreme environmentwhere temperature is high and there is extreme wear. We manufacture high manganese steel rollersin various size and dimension. Weight of each roller ranges from 6 kgs. toupto 215kgs. single piece. We accept large quantity order for these rollers.Austenitic manganese steel rollersare manufactured as per IS 276 from grade 1 to upto grade 7 and also as per ASTM A128 grade A, B, C, D.
All these rollers are properly and strictly checked for its chemical properties on 37 channel analysis Spectro Inc. Germany make spectrometer by tapping liquid metal directly from the induction furnace. It is than perfectly heat treated in a state of the art electric hearth heat treatment furnace having programmable PLC based temperature controller and chartless recorder followed by water quenching in a well agitated and recirculated water quenching tank.
After the heat treatment process metallography test of samples are done on a 1000x magnification metallurgical microscopealong-with image analysis software both imported from Italy to determine the grain structure and matrix formation which helps to know theduration of service for each jaw plate. Hardness is than measured directly on the casting using digital hardness tester from Proceq Switzerland.
