Germany make spectrometer by tapping liquid metal directly from the induction furnace. All the toothed ring hammer and rotary hammers are perfectly heat treated in a state of the art electric hearth heat treatment furnace having programmable PLC based temperature controller and chartless recorder followed by water quenching in a well agitated and recirculated water quenching tank.
After the heat treatment process metallography test of samples are done on a 1000x magnification metallurgical microscopealong-with image analysis software both imported from Italy to determine the grain structure and matrix formation which helps to know theduration of service for each jaw plate. Hardness is than measured directly on the casting using digital hardness tester from Proceq Switzerland.
